A Handmade Sterling silver tallow leaf bracelet. A garland of Chinese tallow leaves curl around the wrist with a hidden catch. The backing plates to the leaf designs are lightly ox idised. Botanical silver jewellery handmade in England. Very different from the other pieces in the Tallow collection I was inspired to create this piece after a trip to Glasgow and was struck by the strong style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh after visiting the art college and The Willow tea rooms. The facing plate sat as an idea on my bench for more than a year while I thought about what I wanted it to be and how it would sit before I created two more that curl around the wrist and a final hidden catch.
