The main ingredient, zinc oxide, acts as a mineral sunscreen, while grass-fed tallow and raw shea butter add a rich blend of vitamins, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and nutrients to fortify the skin's defense against sun damage.Although we haven't conducted official SPF testing on our balm, we estimate its sun protection factor to be around 30. The more translucent your skin appears post-application, the higher the protection level achieved. This effect results in a delicate, temporary white tint that diminishes as the balm sinks into the skin.
