The suspension is cloth cord and has a suspension length of 3000mm. Includes a black ceiling rose which is 100mm in diameter and 50mm in height. The 3-drop rose is 400mm in diameter and 26mm in height. The shade is constructed from handcrafted dimpled glass that is convex (the dimples face outwards). It is heavy glass that has a high quality feel. Dimpled glass has historical significance through its longstanding use in beer mugs used throughout Britain. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, they all have unique characteristics. The shades are handcrafted glass. Bubbles, lines, slight surface defects, line cracks, or discolouration are characteristics of all handcrafted glass and will in no way affect the structural integrity of the shade. They are not to be considered defects. The bottom of the shade is also cut by hand and there may be inconsistencies with the surface. Which in turn enhances its characteristics. These are not considered defects and do not detract cosmetically from the overall appearance. The wooden mounting block shown in the pictures is not included.
