The result is a delicious tamal with a melt in your mouth smoothness given by the banana leaves. They're absolutely fantastic! This once off cooking workshop is part of our Day of the Dead at Picado Series, a micro festival celebrating this colourful Mexican holiday. In the workshop, we'll show you how to make Tamales Oaxaqueños from scratch. We'll make them with two different fillings (one being the iconic Oaxacan black mole and one veggie based) and make the mandatory salsa too so you can eat them as the Mayan gods intended! This is a hands-on workshop, so you'll have plenty of practice. When they are ready, we'll sit down to a delicious meal with everything we cook.
