Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 in Speyside and is known for maturing its single malt exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. After ceasing production in 2010, the distillery re sumed operations in 2012 under new ownership. Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch No. 005 is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, bottled non-chill filtered at 59.8% ABV, and received Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Gold at the 2021 International Spirits Challenge.
