Tanagra by Violet at Indigo Perfumery Tanagra is a perfume woven into the skin. A powdery silk marrying the most subtle lines, a musky cashmere caressing the sweetest curves. Its wake, delicately floral, is sublimated by the beauty of the peony, the purity of freesia and the grace of the iris. Taking its name from the small statuettes of ancient Greece illustrating the feminine beauty, Tanagra was originally published in 1922. On its vintage bottle, designed by Lucien Gaillard, the hood was modeled in the shape of a statuette.
