Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing. Most commonly nose jewelry gauges are either 18G or 20G.20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post18G is thicker than 20G22G is thinner than 18G and 20G24G is thinner yet What is the interior diameter of a nose ring? Your interior diameter is measured from the inside of the wire. A standard nose ring is 8mm, though depending on the size of your nose you may want a custom size, so I offer my nose rings in multiple interior diameters and custom made for you.
