The Sigma Tank Whip is a 9-foot (2.75m) two-piece stainless steel 1/4-wave CB antenna, pre-tuned for CB channels (26–28 MHz) and rated at 1000W. Popular for static hilltop and port able DX operating rather than everyday mobile use — the 9ft length makes it impractical for driving but delivers outstanding performance when set up on high ground. The two-piece design splits in half for easy transportation: the lower half is thick and rigid, the upper half is a standard whip that slots in and is secured with a grub screw. Standard 3/8"x24 thread base fits any standard 3/8" mount — note that a strong, heavy-duty mount is essential given the antenna's length and wind loading. Can be trimmed to cover 10m (28–29.7 MHz) instead of CB. VSWR 1.2:1. 50-ohm impedance. Please note: No mount or cable is included. A strong 3/8" mount is required.
