Tannat (Tan-at) - historically grown in SW France, now known as the national grape in Uruguay. Tannat wines are dense, dark, spicy and tannic. Raspberry aromas, deep dark colour, b ig masculine wine. Full body, high acidity and alcohol, firm tannic structure. Becomes delicate with age.
