Taom Pyro is a single cube of all-round cue chalk from Taom Billiards, made to work across pool, snooker and English billiards on tips of any hardness. It is offered in blue and pi nk, and the compound is formulated to grip the tip without shedding loose dust onto the cloth or the balls. Chalk residue is the practical problem Pyro is built around. Loose chalk that transfers from the tip to the cue ball is a common cause of kicks — the dead, off-line contact that happens when chalk gets between the cue ball and object ball — and it also marks the cloth over a session. Pyro applies smoothly rather than grinding, stays on the tip through more shots than most chalks, and leaves less deposit behind on the table. One cube per pack. Show more
