PRODUCT DETAILS Mexican Tarragon, also known as Winter Tarragon, is a vigorous, heat-loving herb with aromatic foliage and petite yellow flowers. The narrow, toothed leaves have a pleasant anise-like scent and flavour that works well in a variety of fresh dishes. The leaves can be added to salad mixes or chopped into tuna salad, potato salad, pasta dishes, and more. Their distinctive flavour pairs especially well with black pepper, lemon, and pear. The small yellow flowers are also edible. Mexican Tarragon is best treated as a half-hardy annual in cooler climates, although it may survive as a perennial in Zone 8 and warmer areas. Start seeds indoors and transplant outdoors once the weather has warmed in spring.
