Unmeasurable joy is yours to keep... Every time I paint this large, my creativity is unleashed. I find it easier to be more expressive and make bolder marks. As I was creating the first layer, the words ‘taste and see’ kept coming to me. I felt it deep within, the meaning hit me all at once. Having children is one of the greatest blessings life can offer. Joy in the purest form. This painting represents that overwhelming happiness, really enjoying the fruit of our labor, and overcoming any hardship we faced. It’s more than worth it in the end. And it feels only fitting, that Jake helped bring this painting to life. This is our first collaboration we’ve done in a long time. He started it, and then we finished it together.
