Taylor 114ce – Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar The Taylor 114ce is a guitar built for players who want comfort, tone, and reliability all in one. Whether you’re writing songs at home, recording in the studio, or stepping on stage, it delivers the balance and playability that Taylor is known for. Clear and Balanced Sound The solid Sitka spruce top provides a lively, articulate tone that gets even richer over time. Layered sapele back and sides add durability and a warm midrange character, making this guitar a versatile choice for many playing styles. Comfortable Body Shape The Grand Auditorium body shape offers the best of both worlds: it’s large enough to project volume and dynamics, but slim enough to sit comfortably in your lap. A Venetian cutaway gives you smooth access to the upper frets. The slim neck and 1-11/16 inch nut width make it easy to play chords, scales, and barre shapes without hand fatigue. Stage-Ready Electronics Taylor’s Expression System 2 electronics reproduce the guitar’s natural voice when you plug in. The sensors are mounted behind the saddle for clear, dynamic tone that sounds natural through an amp or PA. It’s plug-and-play ready for rehearsals, studio sessions, and live shows. Reliable Build Quality At around 4.5 pounds, the 114ce is lightweight and easy to carry. It comes equipped with chrome tuning machines, a NuBone nut, and a TUSQ saddle for stable tuning and consistent intonation. A padded Taylor gig bag is included for safe transport and storage.
