This used Taylor 655-CE 12-string from 2001, since-discontinued, is a big-bodied Jumbo-style masterpiece. It combines a Sitka Spruce top with Big Leaf Maple back and sides for its sparkling sound and head-turning looks. The Maple's signature quality - a crisp, bright tone - really helps cut through any mix. It's also equipped with a Taylor Prefix Stereo Blender by Fishman Pickup System, so you can easily plug in and play and get just the right tone you're looking for. Here with a 25 1/2" scale length and wide 1 7/8" nut width, this is a fantastic player, overall - and an affordable 12-string that's hard to pass up. Appointments include a Venetian cutaway, gloss finish, white plastic binding, a tortoiseshell pickguard, Abalone rosette, and Pearl Leaf inlays along the fingerboard.
