The Cathead Jacket is TCB’s take on a rare 1930s Duck Head chore coat; one of those off-brand workwear pieces where function drove design, and the details ended up being the story. Cut in a short, boxy silhouette, it leans more work jacket than traditional chore coat. The hickory stripe fabric keeps things rooted in railroad-era workwear, using a lighter, vintage-leaning tone with a grey-dyed weft to subtly mute the contrast and help conceal wear over time. The fabric itself is where this one stands out. Built from a blend of four different yarn types to create a layered, uneven texture that feels closer to true vintage than standard repro denim.
