Spontaneous fragments of life. Behind the glittering cover of Tchachachao lie moments of jubilation and freedom. Thibault Lévêque has crystallized them and recorded them in a full-page format, as if aiming to strip away anything that might seem superfluous. Like memories layering over one another in a hazy mind, these festive snapshots are scattered freely in an unapologetic spontaneity. As memories unfold, a few wandering poems slip in here and there, embedded within the images or printed on transparent paper. This seemingly random sequence is also embodied in the book-object itself, which, lacking a binding, offers great flexibility. Like a travel notebook filled in as time goes by, the book opens flat.
