Not everyone has a sweet tooth. This one is for the crisps-and-cheese crowd, and it does not apologise for it. Sweet chilli crisps from Fairfields Farm, grown and cooked on the same Essex farm by the family who own it. Olly's Pretzel Thins, lightly salted and impossible to leave half finished. Peter's Yard sourdough and spelt crackers, the ones sturdy enough to hold proper cheese without folding. And Drinks Biscuits from The Drinks Bakery in Edinburgh, Italian cheese and sweet basil, built to be eaten alongside a beer rather than instead of one. Then a jar of Godminster beetroot and apple chutney to go on the crackers, a tube of NEMI organic spicy chai from a London tea company that trains and employs refugees, and a cold Lemonaid orange to wash it all down. Two Half the Story shortbreads sneak in at the end. Even the savoury crowd wants something with their tea.
