We are so excited to offer these authentic Yixing Purple-Sand clay (zisha) tea boats. These are handmade by Master Zhou Qi Kun’s studio using forty-year-old authentic clay for the best performance in gongfu brewing. The diameter is 14cm. Traditionally, antique porcelain plates and dishes re-purposed for tea were used for tea boats. This smaller tea boat is a replica of a Song Dynasty plate we use for a tea boat here at the Center, with the ideal angle for pouring excess water and the perfect flatness on the bottom. Show more
