The Attribute Shape Sorting Kit is an excellent resource for reinforcing key mathematical concepts. This comprehensive kit encourages students to sort by size, shape, colour, and transparency, using sorting mats and logic rings. The set includes 144 attribute shapes in 6 different shapes, 2 sizes, 6 colours, and 2 transparencies (solid and translucent), giving students the opportunity to explore a wide range of attributes. The shapes include squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, hexagons, and pentagons, all in two different sizes (5cm and 10cm for most shapes). The set is supplied in a sturdy container for easy storage. In addition, the kit contains 6 transparent sorting mats and 6 logic rings, all designed to enhance the sorting experience. With hands-on activities like Venn diagrams, pattern-making, and more, this kit offers endless opportunities for engagement and learning in the classroom. Educational Benefits: Helps develop sorting and classification skills based on multiple attributes. Enhances spatial awareness and understanding of shapes, sizes, and patterns. Promotes problem-solving and logical thinking through sorting challenges. Encourages communication and teamwork when working with sorting mats and rings. Classroom Ideas: Use the sorting mats to have students sort shapes by colour, size, or transparency. Incorporate Venn diagrams for students to classify shapes with multiple attributes. Let students practice œmore than and œless than by sorting shapes with more than 4 edges. Challenge students to create and extend patterns using different shapes, colours, or sizes. Information: Ages: 3+ years Measurements: Sorting mats: 42 x 32 cm; Logic rings: 50 cm diameter; Attribute shapes: 5 cm and 10 cm (varies by shape)
