TEACUPOval amethyst framed in sterling silver.Sterling Silver earwires.Drop of earrings 1 1/8" Creative Notes: I have a box, maybe two, of teacups from both of my grandmothers. I don’t really know what to do with them but when my parents were downsizing I packed up some for myself. So I headed to the basement to unpack a bit of nostalgia. Ah, they are all so pretty with their painted flowers and colours. I knew I would find inspiration for today’s prompt in those boxes. I almost went with a beautiful pink and burgundy floral one but then I saw this one. It’s called ‘Sweet Violets’ from Royal Albert. It was my Grandma Viola’s and I had given it to her as birthday gift when I was very young. I think I got a lot of my crafty creativeness from her. She was always making things, crocheting, gluing tiny shells onto tins and doing paint by numbers. ________________________________________________________ These earrings are part of a project I did to get me through the winter of 2024. A daily Creative Project based on a published word prompt. It was an incredible way to wake up my creativity in a typically dreary time of year. It became such a joy to stretch my creativity, try new things and even go back to some of my older designs. I hope you love it too. xo Nancy.
