Genuine Teak is an exotic wood that is highly sought after for its water resistance, fragrant aroma, and smooth luster. A great beginner wood, this species is easy to work and very beautiful when finished. It has a moderate blunting effect on blades. This high quality lumber has been kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. A slight 1/8" bow/twist may exist in boards over 30 inches in length. A minor end or surface check may be present. Boards with live edges have checks edges and may contain checks on faces. Enjoy this workable and lustrous species! This piece has knots, checks, inclusions and splits.
