Whether engaged in wheel throwing or hand building, the hands-on experience encourages collaboration, adaptability, and a shared sense of accomplishment. Our skilled instructors guide the group through the artistic process, ensuring a seamless blend of skill development and team bonding. Throw Clay Studio transforms team building from a routine exercise into a dynamic and memorable journey, where the joy of creation becomes a catalyst for stronger connections and a more vibrant team spirit. Everyone is encouraged to make as many pots as they like and then choose the one that sparks joy for them. Our staff will then trim, bisque fire, glaze and fire again over the coming weeks. About 2 to 3 weeks after the event, your creations are ready to be collected and enjoyed as a tangible and lasting reminder of the joy and camaraderie shared. Some important details Extra pots are just $15 including all the trimming, glazing and firing. Payment is due on the day of the event. Cash, direct bank deposit and EFTPOS facilities are available.Pottery sessions are for 2 hours. Extra time can be arranged if necessary. Sessions need to be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the event. The minimum booking includes 6 participants. Extra participants are welcome at $70 per head.We have 10 gorgeous Rhode wheels so groups larger than this will need to be split into 2 with half hand-building and the other half throwing. Participants can switch halfway through the party. A second teacher will be provided for groups larger than 10 so everyone gets the attention they need.
