TEC Multipurpose Primer - 1 Gallon TEC Multipurpose Primer is an acrylic latex-based primer for TEC brand self-leveling underlayments. It may also be used to enable the bonding of other TEC brand surface preparation products and latex-modified thin-set mortars to difficult substrates. For peel-and-stick tile installation, primer can be used on dry, porous concrete, gypsum cement underlayments, and plywood. It may also be used to promote bonds over cold-rolled steel substrates Features Enables installation of ceramic tile or natural stone directly to metal, gypsum-based underlayments, glazed tile (without scarifying), and well-bonded epoxy coatings They are easily applied with a brush or roller for non-porous surfaces or a push broom for porous surfaces. Multipurpose primer for all approved porous and non-porous substrates Typically dries in 30 minutes to 3 hours under ideal ambient conditions. Remove all surface contaminants such as oil, grease, floor finishes, wax, and dirt. Do not apply over wet areas. Solvent-free DO NOT FREEZE. TEC Multipurpose Primer must be stored in an unopened container in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight and protected from weather.
