We have incorporated Cordura(R) positive locking cord in the hats adjustable chin cord for its strength and locking characteristics especially useful during water operations and extreme weather. The cord adjuster has been specifically selected due to it's light weight, butile rubber like feel, easy adjustment and low impedance when stowed. The Tech 1 Boonie brim offers a large radius providing ample sun protection with a medium stiffness it maintains protection in all weather conditions. A classic boonie shape is complemented by a narrower front crown allowing comfortable wearing on multiple head shapes.
