Unique power-on (low to high) and power-off (high to low) jingles. Previously there was a single beep for both functions. The Frequency Shift Menu now beeps with a changing pitch for each setting. (The unit used to use the same beep for all 16 settings, with one of them being a double-beep) The pinpointer can now always power off with the ½ second button hold. (Previously, it could not turn off during some menus.) The menus no longer exit after 3 seconds of inactivity. The pinpointer will stay in the menu until the user decides to power it off. (This allows the user to study the manual, check frequencies for EMI, etc., without the 3-second time pressure.)
