Finely-petaled large yellow ray flowers with a flat, gold center disk, bloom in August and September. They can reach heights of 3–6 feet where the birds and butterflies will find t hem. Their overall texture is fairly coarse and would be especially effective as a distant planting, an easily read bright spot from farther away. It would fit a naturalistic plan, and would be happy along stream or pondside. Less water works, but if in full sun, more water is in order. (Very similar to Inula helenium) Minimum temperature: -40° F Show more
