Temperate White Springtails (Folsomia candida), also known as Collembola springtails or common white springtails, are a long-time staple clean-up crew member for bioactive vivarium s and terrariums. One of the original springtails used in bioactive tanks, they are also used as micro feeders for small reptiles and amphibians. The culture can simply be placed on top of the substrate layer of a vivarium and they will establish themselves naturally. This is an 8oz. culture on soil containing 100+ springtails.
