Gold Medal winner and RESERVE CLASS CHAMPION at the 2025 “Rodeo Uncorked” International Wine Competition, Houston, Texas. THE VINES This Tempranillo was sourced from two Texas High Plains vineyards, Twin T Vineyard and Lost Draw Vineyard. WINEMAKING The grapes were hand-harvested and aged for 28 months in barrels. The wine was aged in second-use barrels with 20% new French oak. TASTING NOTES This wine is the "perfect Tempranillo". The nose presents notes of leather, with smoke on the mid-to-back palate, and a nice spicy finish. FOOD PAIRINGS A perfect match for chips & salsa (red or green), beef fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and mole. It also pairs well with cheeses like Manchego, aged Gouda, and sharp cheddar.
