THE VINES This wine is a blend of 75% Tempranillo from Texas vineyards and 25% Tannat from the Texas High Plains AVA. WINEMAKING The wine underwent whole-berry fermentation in half -ton bins and was aged for more than 28 months in barrels. TASTING NOTES A medium-bodied wine with a great mouthfeel. It offers hints of blackberry and a lovely spice finish on the back of the palate. FOOD PAIRINGS This adventurous wine pairs well with green chili pork tamales, chicken and queso Oaxaca tamales, street tacos with fresh pico de gallo, and carne asada burritos with guacamole and creamy jalapeno sauce.
