The sconce’s title references Gertrude Stein's compendium of everyday objects. Stein’s title is often read as a cheeky reference to nipples, those “tender buttons” of the human for m. The lamp is hand-made with visible carving on a ceramic base. It emits a gentle glow through raw canvas adorned with hand-cut ceramic buttons. Each lamp is one of a kind and will vary slightly.
