The Japanese Giant Mantis, Tenodera aridifolia, is a widespread mantid species in various regions of Asia. Their upper forewings are green with a ombre green-translucent wing desig n while their lower hindwing is coffee stained-brown splattered detail atop translucent wings. This species enjoys warm and open habitats, but can also be found in grasslands in Japan.
