With all of this durabilty in mind, it is satisfying to know that Tern puts all of their bikes through the ringer in testing them up to the German Cargo bike standard DIN 79010. Carrying capacity is another factor that Tern wanted to improve on with all of their Gen 3 frames. Now with a removable Atlas G rack, the rear carrying capacity is increased to 100kg for a total max payload of 210kg on the bike. Favourite features return from previous models as well.
