The sizes shown refer to the external diameter of the saucer. To choose the right size, measure the base of your plant pot rather than the diameter across the top rim, and select a saucer with enough room for the pot to sit securely inside it. Because the stated measurement is the saucer's external diameter, a 16cm saucer will not necessarily fit beneath a plant pot with a 16cm-wide base.
