This Chianti Rriserva is a brilliant ruby red colour with garnet highlights. Featuring aromas of cherries, red plums, and currants layered over notes of earth, rose petals, and leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied showing excellent structure with firm, integrated tannins and plenty of spice on the long finish. Aged for a minimum of 2 years, for 15 months in tanks, then 9 months in French oak barrels and a further 5 months in the bottle before release.
