No one could have ever foreseen the trajectory Hardcore would take when the movement first emerged. And in the early 2000s, no one would have suspected that a band like TERROR would still be one of the subgenre's most influential acts—even 24 years after their inception. Their aggression, coupled with their love and appreciation for the scene, has brought them success; now, they are releasing their tenth album, *STILL SUFFER*, via Flatspot Records. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, TERROR appeared at a time when Hardcore needed a band to get it back on track, as the genre had veered off course. TERROR stormed onto the scene, immediately made a name for themselves, and never let up. The band traces its roots back to the California Hardcore scene, which splintered off from the Punk scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Collaborating with producer (and former guitarist) Todd Jones, the band has crafted ten fast, aggressive, and provocative tracks that revisit the themes that made TERROR so influential in the first place: songs about self-empowerment, survival, and the unwavering will to face challenges armed with the values and support found within these walls.
