Contemporary study of a man, acrylic painting on cotton canvas. The style of this painting can be classified as part of the New Figuration movement, where people and objects are portrayed through splashes of colour that balance between abstraction and figuration: anonymous bodies, often androgenic or multidimensional. Human figures, emotions, and the complexities of humanity frequently emerge in my work. We live in a chaotic world, constantly searching for meaning, and I explore that search through abstraction. Acrylic paint, with its quick-drying nature, allows me to work with immediacy and fluidity, capturing raw emotion through rapid, expressive gestures. New figuration refers to artistic tendencies in art that rejected the aesthetics of impersonal abstract art and updated various forms of return to the figure. While they assumed a human phenomenon, the human did not have to be physically present - a trace or sign was sufficient. It represents an internally urgent expression of moods and existential feelings.
