Cape Coffee is a small batch roastery located on the southern shore of the Avalon Peninsula in Cape Broyle, Newfoundland. They roast carefully and delicately to highlight the compl exity and nuanced flavour profile of where that specific coffee was grown and cared for at origin. They tend to lean towards lighter roasts to bring out the most clarity, allowing the coffee to express itself in an articulate way. This Ethiopian offering comes from the Teshome Gemechu washing station, high in the mountains of Gedeb. The washing station is supported by smallholder farms, which grow their coffee in either semi-forest or garden conditions. This washed combination of Wolisho and Dega has notes of stone fruit, delicate florals and lemon-lime. Show more
