Hair Type: Synthetic Fibre Cap Construction: Wefted - Monofilament Top - Temple-to-Temple Lace Front Colour Shown: 8RH14 (Mousse Cake) - FS17/101S18 (Palm Springs Blonde) Cap Size: Average (54cm - 57cm) Weight: 2.2 oz (58 g) Hair Length: from Fringe: 3" – 3.5" (7.6 – 8.9 cm) from Crown: 3.5" - 4" (8.9 cm - 10.2 cm) from Sides: 2" (5.1 cm) from Nape: 1.75" (4.4 cm) Why You'll Love It Tess is a classic light density pixie in an average cap - the same timeless silhouette as Tess Petite in a smaller cap, sized for a standard head circumference of 54cm–57cm. The light density means the hair sits and moves naturally rather than appearing overly full or thick, which is what gives this style its realistic, understated quality. The soft side-swept fringe at 3"–3.5" frames the face gently and can be worn across or tucked behind the ear depending on your preference. The tapered nape at 1.75" and clean sides keep the silhouette polished from every angle. At just 2oz Tess is one of the lightest styles in the Jon Renau range - a meaningful practical difference for anyone who wears a wig every day. The SmartLace temple-to-temple lace front creates a natural-looking hairline across the full front of the style, and the monofilament top allows the parting to be moved for natural dimension at the crown. Because the fibre is standard synthetic it holds its style between washes without any effort - no restyling, no heat tools needed. Tess is also available in a petite cap for those with a smaller head circumference of 51cm–54cm. Hair Type Tess is made from synthetic fibre. Synthetic wigs hold their style in all weather without the upkeep that human hair requires - no blow drying, no restyling after washing. The fibre maintains its colour and shape wash after wash. Please note Tess is not heat-friendly. Styling tools such as straighteners, curling irons and blow dryers should not be used on this wig as they will permanently damage the fibre. The style returns to its original shape naturally after washing and drying on a wig stand. Wig Cap Construction Tess uses Jon Renau's SmartLace cap - a wefted back with a monofilament top and temple-to-temple SmartLace lace front, in an average cap sized for a head circumference of 54cm–57cm. The wefted back allows air to circulate freely against the scalp, keeping the cap cool and breathable throughout the day. The monofilament top means the hair in the crown and parting area is individually hand-knotted to a sheer mesh base, creating a scalp-like appearance and allowing the parting to be moved for natural dimension. This is particularly useful in a short style like Tess where the crown is the most visible area of the wig. The SmartLace temple-to-temple lace front extends the full width of the hairline from ear tab to ear tab and sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge - the hairline looks natural whether the fringe is worn across the forehead or swept to the side. Velvet-lined ear tabs, ultra-thin nape adjusters and stretch material throughout the cap base provide a comfortable, secure fit within the average cap range of 54cm–57cm. If your head circumference is between 51cm–54cm, Tess is also available in a petite cap.
