The Testar Dew Heater Power Regulator allows you to finely adjust the power of dew heater straps. Differently to any other standard regulator, this has an RCA connector that matche s the common jack of dew heaters, dew shield and mirror heaters. The regulator can be powered by any 12 - 24V DC power source with a 5.5 - 2.1 port. Dew heaters are popular and effective devices to prevent dew condensation on lenses or mirrors. An excessive heating power however will deteriorate the image of the telescope. With a dimmer you can prevent dew formation and at the same time prevent the optics from heating up too much.
