A rare rich specimen of the Bismuth Tellurium mineral Tetradymite from the locality at Zupkov, Slovakia. We only see Tetradymite specimens from this location once in a blue moon. T he location was at one time part of Hungary, under the name of Schubkau. The specimen we have shows abundant crystals of Tetradymite measuring to 3mm, aggregated over the white granular matrix. Certainly one of the richest Tetradymite specimens we have seen. The specimen comes with an old label placing the specimen probably before 1919. A classic of its type. Show more
