Keep away from sunlight, heat, and moisture. Although natural honey rarely goes bad, it will look different over time. It can turn darker, get cloudy, and it will probably crystallize since it has not been heated and processed like most store bought honey. These are all natural changes. Crystalized honey is safe to consume. Put the glass jar into a shallow pot of water, place on stovetop, and warm using low heat. Crystals will dissolve and it'll look normal again. Repeat if needed. Some people may sit crystalized honey on a porch in the warm sunlight for a couple hours and it will get liquid again.
