Battery Vehicle Tracker - a self-contained GPS tracking and theft-alert unit for vehicles, trailers, plant and machinery, requiring no connection to a vehicle electrical system. In stallation is minimal: a strong magnetic base allows the unit to be attached discreetly to a chassis rail, body panel or trailer frame. Internal battery power gives up to three years of service, which makes it suitable for older vehicles and for assets that have no electronics of their own. An onboard vibration sensor raises an alert the moment the asset is disturbed, and a user-defined geo-fence reports when the asset leaves its set zone. Live position tracking is delivered to a mobile phone so the asset can be located and recovered. The unit operates over a 4G cellular connection and carries most of the functionality of the hard-wired Pro Active tracker. A monitoring subscription is required for the tracking service. Show more
