Ceramic burrs are preferred for their ability to crush whole spices instead of chopping them - chopping dilutes the flavour of the spice and can be inconsistent. All of T&G’s CrushGrind® mills can grind spices as well as salt and pepper and feature 12 settings from fine to coarse grind.
