Netted windows, a charpai resting under the wall's shade, and a metal ghara for churning lassi speak to the simple, resourceful rhythm of village life. A nalka (hand pump) stands just outside, alongside a neatly stacked mound of cow manure used to reinforce and refresh the earthen walls—a common yet often overlooked aspect of domestic upkeep.
