Our contemporary take on an oversized daybed. With a sleek raw hardwood frame standing on elegant timber legs and gently curved low headboard, the Appledore would sit well in a traditional or modern style bedroom. The headboard We fill the upholstered headboard with generous layers of recycled denim and our signature locally sourced organic wool to create a supremely comfortable, breathable and natural surface. The base The Appledore’s headboard is accented by a beautiful hand built Beech base, but is also available in Oak, Ash & Walnut upon request. The base has a beech sprung slat system which provide excellent spring and the timber frame has been properly glued and screwed together to ensure a base that lasts a lifetime. Please note that unless otherwise specified, bed bases from a Small Double and larger come split in two (head to toe) as standard, for ease of delivery.
