The base is ultra-purified lanolin, ethically sourced from a US sheep farm, and it's unusually close in structure to the oils skin makes on its own — so it sinks in and stays where you put it instead of sitting on the surface and wearing off.Lips have no oil glands of their own, which is why they dry out first and fastest. A thin layer conditions and softens them, and seals in moisture through cold weather, dry cabin air and indoor heating.It isn't only for lips.
