The Walk Following "The Beatles / The Complete 2-CD Rooftop Concert," Yellow Dog's out-of-print album "Acetates," released to critical acclaim in 2002, is being reissued! The original "Acetates" (YD009) was originally released on a single CD in 1991, and this expanded version was released on 2-CD in 2002. This compilation compiles recordings from the acetate discs. Disc 1, "ACETATES" (YD009), is slightly expanded and upgraded. Disc 2 features audio from the film "Four People Are Idols" as well as the long-famous "Get Back Session" broadcast on North American radio station WBCN in 1969. Incidentally, this release also includes demos for other artists, "Bad To Me," "One And One Is Two," and "Goodbye," which were expected to appear on "Anthology 1-3." These tracks are rarely available on pressings these days, and compilations of demos and private recordings tend to be long and difficult for beginners to navigate. This release is recommended not only for its value but also for its content, making it suitable for beginners. Unlike the reissue of "The Beatles / The Complete 2CD Rooftop Concert," the jacket uses stock printed in 2002. Only the discs are repressed from the original masters.
