The belt is also removable, which makes it nice to travel with, because you can use the belt separately if need be. When I travel I am always thinking of creative ways to get everything I need on the plane. If it’s not in my suitcase, it’s on my person! All Carrie George bags are hand sewn. Why does that matter? Good question. Hand sewing a bag takes longer, but ensures an extremely solid interlocking of the thick waxed thread. This makes the bags able to hold up to lots of weight and years of wear.
