There's a long history of fox hunting in the States and across the pond. We're rooting for the horses, dogs, and the wily fox! “The Cast” Couplet contains a curated pair of Felix D oolittle folded cards that celebrate the animals in the fox hunt: several frisky beagles standing in front of a dark-coated horse and a confident fox on the lookout. Playing off the idea of a couplet in poetry — two lines of verse joined by rhythm and rhyme that express one thought — this set has two designs that tell a richer story by their pairing. The Couplet includes five cards of each watercolor illustration and 10 matching envelopes. Also included is a Correspondence Log Card, illustrated with Felix's favorite pencil, to record to whom and when each card is sent. Presented in our book box, the front label is inspired by the art of the envelope. The name of the Couplet is written in Felix’s handwritten calligraphy, and the two card designs appear as envelope stamps. Show more
