The Chief Cornerstone recalls the efforts that Hakham Toviyya Simha Levi-Babovich undertook to lead the Karaite Jewish community in Egypt. Upon his arrival, he feverishly began to institute educational programs so as to inspire a spiritual revival among his new congregants. This book itself is one such initiative, aimed at educating his community about influential individuals in the history of the Karaite movement.
